technology, timers, set up the night before when drinking last cup of the day...

which reminds me of my last boss at the university who drank coffee before bed because it helped him wake up in the morning.
Well, they do say that, if you time it right, caffeine, rather than keeping you awake, will simply make sure you are nice and alert when you wake up (basically, it's a matter of having the caffeine kick in when you are already asleep).

It was 46° degrees here at home, this morning.

On way to the garden ... in my work pants with a hole in them. However, I ironed a patch on them yesterday :D. Wearing a t-shirt for the first time in weeks!

Off I go ...

Good Morning. Very nice 🌝 altho I can still smell the smoke. Jupiter trailing and Orion was looming large in the southern sky.

Finished breakfast now on herbal tea and laundry almost ready to hang out. The air is full-on Unhealthy so we will now smell of wood smoke wherever we go.

Have to get to lawn mowing because the smoke becomes worse as the day wears on. At least, that’s been true lately. It is, however, worse already than predicted. But: Can’t bother the neighbors too early and, besides, can’t see the grass out there yet ;).

I hope this idea can help you see your grass whilst cutting it quietly! I would not think a smoke smell would be noticed? Wins all around!
