Doctor appointment went well. Really nothing wrong with me now. He said I could stop the diltiazem tomorrow and see what happens. I went shopping with DS today for the first time in 2-1/2 months. We went to several stores and went by DD's house for a few minutes and then later we went to Walmart, and I felt basically normal. I just need to continue to get stronger and be more active in the house and it will help that I do not have to type. I have lost about 25 pounds and that has slowed since Thanksgiving, so I need to make sure I keep eating good. Total shock about price of eggs while out shopping! I asked DS haven't you noticed the price of eggs and he said no. They were $2.88 for 18 eggs the last time I went to the store in Sept. and we paid $4.88 for 18 eggs today.

Good Morning. Reading about bird flu this morning after attending to Garbanzo the Dog's needs. Serious damage to US poultry industry, backyard flocks and the wild birds - 40% loss in Scotland in one species of shore birds. Infections even in foxes and seals! Thank ful ly, it isn't too much of a problem for humans.

Late for Breakfast!

Banana with Maltomeal flavored with honey and cream cheese :). I remember @Nyboy going on about Fruit Loops :rainbowflower. This is my version :).

they're not even close! :) i really like Fruity Pebbles but i hardly ever have them because they are mainly sugar and fake fruit flavors and not anything really nutritious.

this morning i am zooming on the last package of instant cream of wheat and then i doctored it up with cocoa and brown sugar. way too much cocoa as i am zooming like i've had three cans of Coke and the worst part is that i have to get up about every 20 minutes to pee again! right through me... a good reason why i don't do caffiene... i've been pretty productive this morning too. whee! :) bopping around like a pinball...

Coffee with 3 oreos this morning. Had to run.
Texted a fellow trustee who was about to leave on a weekend trip, so I brought my petition to be signed at 7:30 this morning.
Stopped to get the mail--we have to pick up from a P O Box, no house delivery.
At LEAST the small post office still remains open with limited hours.
We have a key to a small box, and larger packages are either put into larger post boxes, where you use a provided key and drop it in the correct slot when finished, or need to be there in the 2 hour time frame, Monday-Saturday.
Got DH a Blendjet, with Ilsa, since they now have a limited DIsney series.
He SWEARS that I shouldn't give him this bc it will be chocolate milkshakes every night!!
Still, it is my favorite gizmo for 2022, and I intend to make some healthier mixes for me, like some kind of V8 mix.
I will be cleaning it, so why not?

Great news! Now to building up your strength so you can get back in the swing of things. Losing weight is hard. Congratulations on the 25 pounds! Thanksgiving and Christmas is not diet time….. just too hard! Who wants celery sticks for Christmas dinner? NOBODY. I have a step counter on my phone. I put it in my front pocket and check it. If there aren’t enough steps, I go walk some more.

Eggs-I may have to get chickens again! I paid &4.98 for a dozen large brown eggs!

I had a step counter last year that I put in my pocket but I lost it out in the garden somewhere. I have a watch now that has my heart rate and counts steps, but it is not that accurate, but it does remind me to walk because I want to get more steps on it than the day before.

I should REALLY break down this morning and make some oatmeal, although it is always laced with butter and sugar.
@Gardening with Rabbits , I loose stuff like that from my jean pocketrs IN THE GARDEN all of the time. Nice knife cutter for baling twine got lost this summer. I had a backup, but I had this great System, yellow metal upstairs int he loft, red metal stored on the 2 x 4 ledge tucked right inside of the grain room.
When I take my phone out to the barn I put it in a grain can inside, right on top of the feed, so it won't get lost AND broken. :hugs

@Gardening with Rabbits and @ducks4you what y’all need is overalls!! I have 2 pair and I love them. Pockets everywhere and the best part is a snap pocket and a zipper pocket on the bib front. Can’t lose the phone! Only bad thing, they are still “nice” so I wear them to town. Yeah, I really know how to go styling! I can’t bring myself to mess them up so I’ll wear them on the farm!

Men's clothing.

If a shirt doesn't have a pocket, I don't want it. Two pockets means I'm more interested in buying it ;). And, I have an insulated flannel shirt with FOUR pockets.

I'm disappointed that sweatpants don't have more than 2 pockets and would never consider leaving the yard in them.

I have a vest with 2 pockets outside and 2 inside. One jacket has 3 pockets, another one - 6! My heaviest jacket has only 2 but I'm very much inclined to wear a vest or flannel shirt with it ;).

Working in the garden, I often have a standard practice of using the little watch pocket in my jeans. It just depends on what tools I have a need to carry.
