i'm pretty picky about coffee and even if some people might turn up their nose at instant coffee i can at least get it down. what i can not get down is coffee that has sat on a burner for very long. from the time i brew a cup (if i'm not using instant) to the time it is down the hatch is usually ten minutes or less. after that i want to take a pot off any heat and get it into a sealed container to cool off and then refridgerate it. the smell of really stale or burned coffee turns my stomach.
coffee grounds, i'm glad to say do not bother me nearly as much, when i was planting onions the other day i noticed the compost they'd used for seed starting or potting up probably had some coffee grounds in it as i could smell them from time to time as i was going along getting the starts in the ground.
