Sleep didn't come quickly but it arrived without painkillers. Nearly 8 hours on the horizontal and feeling better than before.

Assembling furniture was part of my first company job. Actually, the very first thing I had to do on Day 1 was sweep the parking lot. With a broom — luckily, this was a downtown department store and the parking lot was small with customers using on-street parking. How did that ever work?? Well, it was the only department store in town ... along with a Woolworth's and a drug store, flowershop and ... A center plaza with a statue and parking on all sides, with park benches if you needed a rest while traversing the distance to arrive at the front doors of different stores & offices :).

Homemade Cinnamon Roll, baked apple and a fresh orange enjoyed with the oolong. More of everything available. Time for herbal tea and a gentle look at the news.

DD's are coming over today for the great CLEAN UP THE GROUND FLOOR OF THE BARN DAY!! :weee
I remembered the package of orange rolls in the fridge, baking now.
The other day I messed up my oven bc I baked--yes, Virginia, baking hamburger patties slowly gives me more control--6 hamburgers on the oven broiler pan, actually I have two of broiler pans, one saved from the last stove.
The slotted tops were stacked in the oven storage drawer, I didn't look sharp, and ended up baking them on two slotted tops, instead of one slotted top and the drip tray. :th
BIIIIGGGGG oven mess!!! :barnie
Fortunately, my oven has a self clean, so yesterday evening I got the lovely smells of burning grease and smoke. :sick
UNfortunately, I left the racks on and had to scrub where they touched the sides, AND, along the door rims AND, along the bottoms--basically it could use another clean with anOTHER SOS pad.
Still, all of the self cleaning ash is cleaned up, and I am baking in it, without chemical smells.
Sooooo.
COFFEE with orange rolls this morning and Maybe some scrambled eggs.

NO, @flowerbug !!
This is a HAPPY story!! :hugs These rolls are Very picky. Too little/fast baking and they burn, too little and they are raw. These turned out perfectly, and I removed them from their baking pie plate to a cold one so that they would Stop baking. Apparently, this is a "thing" about cooking, like removing scrambled eggs before they are finished bc they are still hot and will continue cooking on your plate.
