@ducks4you Oh goodness… Another knee is getting revamped. It’s gonna be nice to have it out of the way for summer.

I forgot to refer the ice knee machine. It attaches around the knee keeps the swelling down and helps healing .
It’s cold therapy system ice machine system for knee surgery recovery. Portable flexible kit. Available on Amazon
Also good for sprains and strains.

Sending good vibes for continued recovery on your new knee.

Actually, I am, Again, looking forward to the next surgery. IF I had not had 2 falls on my right knee, the left knee would probably be in better shape. However, I have stressed the left knee using it for most of my walking in the last 2 years and I am feeling it. G my PT said this last week that I can continue to exercise the left leg, But, if the left knee gets Too painful, I should do the exercises on a flat surface with no weight on the knee, until it is fixed, like the right one.
Everybody is Now agreeing the a summer surgery makes more sense. I have started to feed my ponies on my own, now, much to the relief of youngest DD, who did 2 straight months of feeding and swears that she will NEVER own a horse!
Today, I need to move the snowblower from the area in front of my car (we have a 4 car garage) to the back of my truck, the other truck belongs to youngest DD, except she needs to get somebody to use the wood in storage in her one car garage there and build back their back porch, and then she will take it out of my garage.
I don't think I will stress my right or left knee, but I think two trips outside today makes more sense than one.
We are now at the point where I will be getting stronger in both legs and I have to be careful not to slip and fall in the winter weather.
I have all of the winter coats and gloves and boots downstairs to make everything possible, including Carthart heavy canvas bib overalls.
Coffee this morning, with yogurt, until my beef broth was finished pressure canning, then watching the news with More coffee and some fudge cookies.

Finished my breakfast of pumpkin pancakes and persimmon. Could have also had an orange but, somehow, it didn't rhyme ;).

A load of clothes in the washing machine includes a new, lightweight shirt. Strange to think that I should toss a couple and replace in January but the comfortable flannels are in good supply.

The snow shovels sit at-hand on the deck with, once again, no need to use them. Not only are there no elementary kids passing by on their way to school but it will be above freezing by 9. Rain tonight with no freezing tomorrow will likely push some kind of record for a low.

Yesterday's snow was a little difficult to sweep off the backsteps because it was frozen with rain coming down. I put some salt down and nervously checked the tree limbs but no icestorm developed. Thankfully!

Next load of laundry calls and I can enjoy another cup of herbal tea before it is anywhere close to a second breakfast time. You can check out funny business to see what I might be up to.
