Here I sit with 2 pairs of socks on. About to throw the thin ankle types away since there are new wool pairs. Will still be doubling them ;).

Oatmeal with cranberries, Cara Cara oranges and small bananas. Oolong, with herbal in the kettle. After sharing the herb mix with a friend, I need to portion out some for another jar full. The new package of stevia leaf arrived this week ☕.

This Christmas "waffle" bathrobe is something new. Light weight. Fits well under the big flannel bathrobe better than the old terrycloth one.

I tried to post a video to you from YouTube but the owner hasn't permitted it :(😞

"Persimmons Can be Deadly and Here is Why".

Never eat them on an empty stomach for one
I never heard of this!? I once ate persimmons on an empty stomach while drying slices of this fruit for gifts. I kept snacking on the slices. Well, I'm still kickin' so I guess I lucked out! 😁

Persimmons deadly? I've eaten them by the case, sometimes the first thing I eat in the morning. Still kicking X 2. The concern might be with eating American persimmons before they are fully ripe. I don't like those, only eat the flattened, firm, fuyu persimmons.

Some claim that raw green beans are toxic too... so after all the 'toxic' things I've eaten, I must have the constitution of a honey badger. Or a Wisconsin badger for that matter. 😁

raw red seeded varieties when the seeds are more mature. otherwise i've never heard anything about green beans as most are also white seeded types.

I don't know where to add this.

This guy is amazing 👏. He took a huge risk but lives to tell his story

I made a pumpkin pie, with the innards of two of 2024's beige pumpkins. It stored in the fridge in a one quart plastic rectangular freezer container. It was concerned that it was a little bit stringy, BUT, I took it to my blender, added the eggs, sweetened condensed milk and spices and pulverized them. It made enough for a pie...and then some.
I ate the "then some" with coffee this morning,
