@Gardening with Rabbits it sounds like your backed up against the wall . The flu is going around here to as well as schools were closed because of the measles outbreak.
When the kids were in school they brought every bug home too. Staying is tough when family is sick.

Sorry about Blinky what a beautiful kitty. I have special areas in my garden for my animals when they go over the rainbow bridge , planting special plants in remembrance.
They all seem on the mend today. The kids are coughing, but so far DD is not coughing, but nothing like some people with RSV. Thank you about Blinky. I have so many cats and dogs over the years to remember. I wish I could have a cat that could go outside and not worry that something would happen to it, but there is just too many cats around my area missing and it took years for my other cat Mister to stop roaming the neighborhood. I think he did get bumped by a car and lived. He also disappeared twice over the years for several days. He was so big I think the owls left him alone.

@Gardening with Rabbits , there are no words. 🙏🙏🙏 for your heartache.
Thank you. I am okay. Better than I thought I would be. Most animals I have had to put to sleep, I knew what was wrong with them, but there just was not an answer for this. He was very strong and young looking for a 14-year-old and just went down so fast and when vets have no idea, it was just confusing. Thank you again.

I started 3 different kinds of onions, marigolds, cabbage and 3 different kinds of kale today. I have to go to the store to get a few other things I want and I will start the tomatoes and peppers and a few other things Saturday.

DD and the kids have all had the stomach flu, so I do not want to be around them for a few more days. I was going to a baby shower on Saturday for her, but I am going to not go to that one. I think she is not going to go either. I have the gifts bought and I will just give them to her the next time I see her.

DS and I took Blinky to the emergency vet late Tuesday night and had him put to sleep. I could tell we had done all we could and he might start having distress. His legs were getting weak. I feel okay about it since we did all we could. I have shown pictures of him over the years. View attachment 72700View attachment 72702
I'm so sorry you lost him. It's a huge pain losing our lovely pets 😢 ♥️

Very sorry about Blinky. He was a beautiful cat. Not knowing is the worst. :-(
