So I just have to do an update on the basket I made for my daughter!
Of course she was happy with the fresh ingredients I gave her, she couldn't wait to use them!
So she sent me pics of what happened to the contents of the basket!

The Tomatoes (she used for lunch yesterday)

The Cucumbers (snack today)

Dinner Tonight
Shrimp patties topped with EGGPLANT & crawfish cream sauce
Roasted SQUASH, carrots, Brussels sprouts & mushrooms
& blackeyed peas with saffron rice!!!

I have to say great uses of what I gave her.....
Just wish she was at home & I could've eaten some too...

What a pity that my mother lives farther north than I am. But she was glad, that where I live is a bit warmer. I can share with her harvest 2 weeks earlier than it will have a harvest.

Nyboy so true. I think I give away most of my produce. We can only eat so much. Maybe I shouldn't be cramming so much.
