Got 2 hrs of sleep on Sunday dw and left for rdu at 2:30 1.5 hr drive, glad we left early road construction. Flight was full and cattle trailer with wings, friendly flight crew. Meet my ride got to the shop meet everyone, got the nickel tour nice building.
worked on removing power to the wheel refurb area, the owner found me asked me if the graham g/m got me a room at the sleep inn, don’t know looked at phone, nope she booked me at the super 8.... is that going to be okay?

Today was a very dirty nasty day getting the rest of the power removed, left at 5pm hit the room long hot shower, laided down for a couple minutes popped a couple beers. Walked across the road had dinner at crackle barrel good dinner,
now it’s raining cats and dogs....
Time to sit back and watch some tv

i'm sorry for everyone involved in such things.

and glad you avoided that too.

you'd like this one: working on garden shed today, ex-step-dad used short roofing nails to go into foam board to hold up linoleum flooring on the wall. it was coming off anyways, but that made me laugh. like, "What were you thinking?!!"

so good to be home.. spent the first week removing some old equipment, and installing a state of the art extruder..

love the new electronics cabinet....

installed 2 tread builders...

last week was removing the old metal halide lighting,they had 75 of them just in the retread area, replaced them with led high bay put in 46.. what a improvement.

once back down will be tackling the warehouse, main shop and putting up the outside wall pack lighting...

the led lights will pay for themselves in about 3 years just in energy savings... the nice thing is all the led high bay lights have a motion sensor so they only come on when you walk by and only stay on for 15 mins .....
