Maybe you could go back every once in awhile as a consultant (read that as fix their screw-ups) and charge exorbitant fees.

I feel for ya - it's EVERYWHERE.
I am now required to hand this picture to every new driver
Because when I say "Follow the paved road until you see 2 big storage containers on you left. Then follow the arrows painted on the stacks of tires to the tipper." drivers can't seem to figure out what they're looking for. Seriously, last week we chased down a dozen grown men who could not figure out what they were supposed to do when they saw the stack of tires with the arrow on it. One turned LEFT at the stack, drove over 3 traffic cones blocking off the road he had decided to go down, and got himself so stuck that we had to call a tow truck to get him out.

@canesisters even if you provided a pilot car with a big flashing lights and a sign saying "follow me" they still will get lost....

today spent showing my replacement the maintenance routine i do on each piece of equipment in the shop...at least he wrote down everything i was explaining..
tomorrow be showing him the refurb department maintenance..lol his going to love that....
did corner both the owner and g/m and asked if they would find time to write a letter of recommendation for me, .."you will have one before you leave, we owe you that"
