I don't know how people get away with wasting other peoples' money so blatantly. But it happens all the time. :\

Sorry there Major. I goofed. I wouldn't want to be starting any rumors that make MontyJ angry or Dew, for that matter.

I just got my "M"s mixed up and for that I am heartily sorry -- so have at it with a wet noodle.

Phooh! I know that. I've used the EDIT feature a heaping bunch. Just didn't think of it today. It's been really tough around here lately and I fear it's taking its toll on me.

This is NOT fun.
This is NOT easy.
This is NOT going to get easier in the foreseeable future.
I am taking things one day at a time and looking for small treasures to hold dear amid difficulties that threaten to overwhelm.

Red, we're here for you whenever you need us. We love you.

You guys are CRAZY!!! Oh wait, I just spent the last 15 minutes reading this entire nutty thread. Maybe I should join the crazies here. I'd fit right in.

Can't sleep tonight. Injured my leg and back loading 600 lb.round hay bails on Saturday. Dr. says torn muscle in my thigh and strained back muscles. I guess the oxycodone is keeping me awake. Dang, I can't be laid up, I have too much work to do.

Welcome to the "crazy" thread smiles jr! ;)

Sorry to hear you are injured. It would probably be advisable, next time you have 600 lb hay bales to load... to use a piece of heavy equipment. Not to pick them up by yourself. :ep :duc :old

On that note.... ;)

Sometimes it helps just a little to stretch out and try to make sense of what went wrong.

It may even help with pain but, fortunately, there is more to life than pain and I hope you move past that quickly, @Smiles Jr. . It's a crazy world. It's all Texas ;).

I was very concerned that I had injured myself trying to help a neighbor very early in this season. He has repeatedly apologized but he was obviously going through a rough patch and I failed to make anything better. Luckily, the pain symptoms vanished over time and I simply must use better judgment in the future.

I'd like to share other dilemmas relating to neighbors but you might imagine how unwise that would be on a public forum. Almost daily, I interact with this group of people and face frustrations which require big adjustments. Or, what seem to this decrepit to be big adjustments. Some days, I hardly have the energy to move ...

Here, let me share some photographs. Starting with this one we all know (LINK). He says he is "never even remotely thinking of retiring," so here are a few of his recently published (LINK).

They are just links. Maybe Major' will forgive me.

:) Steve
