Thanks Bid...I will use the compost this fall. I'm anxious to do so anyway. I want to start a new pile for next year. I've stopped adding to it so that it would finish cooking. But I'm throwing away some good stuff that I don't want to. Like chicken poop, fruit peels, grass, leaves, etc. :( I don't have any room to start a new pile until I empty my bin out.

Thanks! I've got to get my butt in gear with building an easy to 'turn' composter so that the kids can flip it over a few times every day or two to ensure a speedy process. ;)

Our birds certainly do their share of pooping all over.. We're constantly checking our shoes at the back door to make sure it doesn't get tracked in.. Yuck!

Anyway, I'll post back at some point..
