Or even go back to where we had more freedom of choices in our lives
for sure ... want some GOOD NEWS? Oh! dear the file is too large ... in a nutshell, DJT has withdrawn from the W H O and so has Italy and an African country (the name slips my name, could be Kenya) ... this will only be found on alternate media

Thinking about a few things i found on TEG, this morning. ⬆️ Here's an idea for @akroberts 's pallet building ;).

Time: @flowerbug mother's being surprised about his thinking from 50 years ago ... It's a part of being old. Ya know, when I was a kid, I thought someone at 40 was pushing it. Someone at 50 was old! "Not trusting anyone over 30" came a little late and especially since I wanted things to change in the US and shucks, you had to be over 30 to be elected to the Senate. (Somebody like Biden was only 30 years old on election day, 1972.) Fifty years passes for me and I look back and think, Good Grief!

@Rhodie Ranch talks about @hdan 's parsley and her mother's "traditional wisdom" regarding parsley ... I remember that idea about parsley protecting the gall bladder. We had parsley in the yard. That, by the way, reseeded itself. I was reflecting on how the microwave was met with resistance. What percentage of homes do you suppose now do NOT have a microwave oven? But, also aluminum foil –– not to go in the microwave, just using it. Was It Safe??? Ideas out there on the teevee.

Teevee was new, also. Media on a national level! McCarthy showed up at the same time. Dies young from liver failure but not before some guy named Edward R Murrow (from this neck of the woods) skewers him on national TV and ... the rest is history. Someone the other day said that they remembered when their TV had only 3 channels when they were young. I remember the first & ONLY station arriving in town – Howdy Doody
:D

That's a great idea but can I use a Bud Light bottle can for the arm considering I don't like wine?.

I remember my grandma taking me to Grand Auto and buying me a toy box for Christmas. I remember her taking me to Woolworths and getting me a sundae and I also remember going to Kmart and getting like 10 sandwiches for 2.00 or something like that and they put all the sandwiches in a plastic bag that was skinny and clear. I also remember my grandma buying stuff from the General store on wheels. I don't remember the name of it but I know I remember it.
