@thistlebloom , that is some nice looking corn plants, do you have to use anything on them to keep pests off.

I haven't ever had a pest problem on corn (knock on head). Maybe because I don't grow sweet corn? The flour corn maybe isn't as attractive.

Well the corn is starting to silk going to freshen up the DE, hope the silk lasts long enough to pollinate.

@thistlebloom whatever does mine in must not like flour corn then. I can say they love sweet corn silk for sure.

If you get some silks. break off a piece of the tassel and rub it on the silks.
