Took sowm time today to harvest roselle pods . We will peel the red calyx off, dehydrate and store in jars to make the most delicious tangy tea!
It was hot and I sweated but this will be worth it when we can have tea with every meal
I boil one tablespoon of dry stevia leaves with a bit of water and pour it in a half gallon jar. Add half cup of dried roselle calyx and fill the jar up with cold water. Put a lid on it and store in the fridge. Ready to drink the next day!
To make pouring the tea in a glass less of a chore, I use a wide mouth sprouting jar lid. It really strains well!
