Very nice, is cottonwood like cedar slow rotting ?

It is not rot resistant like cedar or redwood. There really is not many good uses for it that I know of. I do know that a lot of wooden kitchen utensils are made from it because it gets hard when it dries and let's off no taste from the wood. I just used it cause I had it down hopefully it last 10 years or so.
