So far, one of my brothers & his wife; she works in a nursing home. Both of my sons (one a few days ago), one daughter, and both granddaughters have had Covid. None of them seriously, praise be.

not sure, but i never got tested and don't plan on it unless needed for some reason. when vaccine comes out that is generally available i'll be in line for it.

there's now a list of relatives fighting it at various levels of illness. i don't know the status of all of them, but most of them seem to be doing ok so far other than the one in the ICU who is at least stable. saw a picture of them today, looks like they got run over by a truck. they had blood oxygen levels below 70 early in the week but i think they've gotten back to 80 the past few days. just hoping they keep improving so they can go home. i think any of the treatments that have been in the news they have been given. i'm pretty sure had they had this bad of an infection back in the spring they'd not have made it.

I will not become a guinea pig for the shot. Lets let the Senate take them first and wait a few months to see how they do.

they've already gone past that stage by many thousands of people for anything you are likely to see in the next few months. more will be coming along. the guinea pig stage happens first thing (in the 1st stage of testing), then the 2nd stage verifies this even more by expanding how many are tested, the two recent candidates are in 3rd stage where there are thousands of people involved and it is a double blind study (the doctors and patients don't even know who is getting the vaccine).

there have been a few reports of trials being put on hold while some safety issue has come up but with so many vaccines in the works it is hard to keep track of each one of them. i haven't been following them too closely myself. i don't how so far how many have been cancelled after issues have come up in early stages.

i think i've posted this link before for those who are interested in more detail:

Not me. All good for those who believe all this. Not me. Never will. I believe nothing they say. I really believe people are going to be in big trouble from this vaccine, if not soon, later.

A very comprehensive list of all drugs, vaccines, and protocols for Covid-19 currently being studied is here:

Covid-19 Clinical Trials

This is a world-wide listing. I like that drug treatments are also covered here. Vaccines are the best avenue for (permanently?) reducing the spread & returning our world to some semblance of normality. But until then, drugs offer the best hope for reducing hospitalizations & fatalities.
