Well, here's an interesting anecdote.
DS#1 has gotten over his Covid. He mentioned that while he was ill, his blood sugar spiked by about 300%, to the point where even tripling his insulin couldn't bring it down. We were really concerned. But here's the odd part... now that he has recovered, he told me today that his glucose level fell to normal range. He is taking all of his medication now at pre-Covid levels, which makes it doubly strange, given that he was having trouble controlling his blood sugar prior to Covid. Whether this was a result of the infection or the medication he took during his illness, this may be worth looking into. I hope the effect lasts.
