Your mom does beautiful work Lavender, what a sweetheart!
I never picked up on any of those finer skills, though I was instructed in knitting and crochet, my grandma was a great knitter and seamstress, and my mom was very creative with fabric and crafts.
My fine motor skills are limited to shovels and rakes unfortunately. :eek:

Very nice! What a talented gal! My dream is to learn quilting and crochet/knitting in my old age...We'll see how that goes!

My grandmother made me a bedspread I still use every winter. How do you tell if t is knitted or crocheted?

How great to have a keepsake from your grandmother!

Mom likes to crochet more than knit. She made bedspreads for all my kids and countless afghans. All I know about the difference is, you use different needles/hooks. :D
I'm sure someone else can give you a better answer.
