i've seen them in the wild up north... of all places growing on logs floating on a crystal clear lake. i've never kept any, but was into reading about them and all carnivorous plants.

He said there hardy here zone 5 with winter protection. @flowerbug would you like to try some ? He is giving away free, he does ask if any old plastic pots laying around he could use. I going to meet even if I kill plants he sounds interesting .

thank you, but no thanks. i'm passing on any new projects for the foreseeable future. i got my plate full and sauce dripping places it shouldn't go... :)

the zone up there would have been 4. i'm hoping if you get some you manage to keep them alive. most likely all they need is water and light as they harvest their own fertilizer. :)

What does a running T bird book for? I’d bet fraud.

Looked up, junk-$7300
Average-$13,500
Good-$25,000 & up......

I had a 64 t-bird. Oh, it was fun!

Put all sorts of work into that car but it still require constant attention. Terrible in the snow ... I suppose now that 20+ years has passed, I wouldn't even consider driving it in bad weather ...

My brother still has his 56 t -bird, and his 36 Ford, also. He says that they are "taking up room in the barn." What motivation would be required for him to restore them again? I'm not sure ... he may have passed that time when he was in his 20's. Might just think of them as something in the bank for his daughter and her family ... don't know.
