I changed the fuel filter Friday - no go. (THAT was a learning experience!)
Had it towed to my mechanic yesterday for further investigation.
Hoping it's an easy fix. It was running GREAT, until I filled it up...

Well, there's your problem, a FILL UP! It probably never had a full tank before and it went into shock.

Went to the feed store yesterday and there was a tub with sprouting potatoes in it. The sign said FREE! How Green Is Your Thumb? So I got a bag of them, brown skinned white potatoes and purple skinned purple potatoes. Normally I am digging potatoes by the end of May......but what do I have to lose?

There is a facebook page for my county that is essentially a giant, never ending yard sale.
Picked up this little beauty for $25

That was taken after the first try-out. The whole corner was tall like the grass on the right.
A couple minutes later:

This is going to be my Summer Workout Routine!! ;)

Last night I mowed the entire right side of the drive - from that corner of the pasture, along the fence line to the barn and back around to the rose bush. The whole time I listened to the wind blowing in the trees, Eva's jingling bell, the chickens clucking, the birds singing... SOOO MUCH NICER than the roar of a 'lawn mower'. :D

That's a good price! That's something you don't see anymore....used to have to push one of those a time or so when I was a kid. Have to keep them really, really sharp or they become a huge chore to push.

MUCH better than that ugly roar of the mower. :thumbsup

I made a improvised hay ring for the sheep so they could have a round bale. I had Russell drop the bale in the corner and then we fastened tow halves of a cow panel to make a sort of a square. The sheep can stick their heads through the big squares and not pee and poop on the hay. I needed a small tarp to put over it to keep the rain off, so I looked up Harbor Freight to price it. Well! They were having a 3 day sale, buy something for 4.99 and get a FREE tarp, exactly the small size I needed! And there was a FREE 25' measuring tape sale too, just spend 4.99. One special per customer. Not a problem.

We went to Harbor Freight and I bought a hose nozzle and got my FREE tarp. My husband bought 2 pairs of gloves and got a FREE 25' measuring tape. I bungied down the tarp, it rained like crazy and the hay is still dry. I used the 25' tape today. :thumbsup
