Lewis County and Clark County, you and @bobm are in neighboring counties.

Both are zone 8 ... I did the zip code lookup for Bob.

People elsewhere in the US must be amazed that those high numbers extend so far up the Pacific Coast. (I'm going to say "coast" because you are on the "wetside" of the Cascade Mountains.)

i wonder if @PennyJo 's folks were looking at those Gurney catalogs about the same decades i was looking at Shumway's catalogs ;).

I think we have way close... My Dad passed in 74 Mom is battling for life with dementia now
\no telling how much longer we will have her. We live 21 miles down highway headed for
Mt. Rainier away from I-5

There are different ideas about "restored," NyBoy.

My Dad and I restored a '64 t-bird in the early '80's. Sitting out in front of my house, a guy stopped by one day. He wanted to look at it. "Yep, I restored that car. It used to be mine." He says.

The paint might not have been original when we got it but it had been an original t-bird color ... faded nearly to white. It was repainted. All of the interior chrome was damaged and we replaced it. The heads had to come off the engine so that the valves could be ground. The tires were useless from the car sitting.

After scraping a fender on my garage door and having that repaired and learning the car was essentially useless in the snow, I parked it for 3 years. The engine would barely run and needed to be restored again when the next guy bought it from us.

Luckily the $ spent on it came back with that sale and I did have some fun driving it for a short while.
