Even with my tractor and DH's Kawasaki mule, I use my wagon almost daily. I love my wagon! Mary you will wonder what you ever did without it!

Tomorrow morning one of mine is scheduled for apple picking. What's nice is that even if I fill it completely those mesh sides and bottom will help the airflow around the apples. Then I can just roll it into the garage until I have time to make apple pie filling and applesauce.

@ninnymary , do you make little apple crisps in your canning jars to freeze?

That's great to know Bay! Right now other than unloading my chicken feed, I can't see too many uses for it.

Thistle, I'm not crazy about apple pie or apple crisp. I LOVE my peach blueberry crisp though. I'm more of a berry person. I also make a mean peach cobbler. :)

That's okay Mary, I'm sure we can overlook a few minor faults. :p

I just wondered if I should try a few. Sure would be nice this winter. A whole crisp would certainly not go to waste (just to waist )
but we have been working so hard and being so good all summer I don't want to backslide.

Thistle, I would definitely do the jars. I love the ease of taking one out of the freezer and baking a fresh crisp. The individual servings are a big bonus.

Yesterday I made a peach blueberry cobbler. I asked my husband if I should put it In jars and he said no our son would eat some. I offered some to my daughter too. Well guess what, I'm the only one eating it! :barnie Now I probably have to go tio the gym everyday! Uggg don't want to regain those 3 lbs that took so much work and time to lose.

Congrats on the free wagon, Miss Mary!!!! Nice to have one of those around for various and sundry reasons, especially if you live where they can roll easily. Those carts can be pricey when you go to buy them.

Happened to walk past futon couches in two separate stores yesterday that were of the same design as the one we got for $65....one was listed at $299 and the other at $229 and the second one was not near the construction nor quality of mattress as the one we bought. I love it when you get something for a bargain and then you find out just how good a bargain it really was! :D
