About 30 minutes ago we just experienced an earthquake. Apparently, it hit hard in the Virginia/DC area.... but we felt it in NC. The whole house shook! Never felt an earthquake before, so this was a first!

So yeah, i'm in central eastern PA right now, and YOU WOULD THINK i would have noticed this, appparently my mom, grandparents and myself all missed it!! Crazy oblivious, too involved in freezing corn i guess!

My neice lives in Beverly Mass and she felt it too... I didnt feel it here in NH dont know how far north it shook

Yes, I thought it was that product from the 60's - you shook it up and it was so creamy and thick. Remember? Prob removed due to actions from the EPA, the Food Police, the nutritionists, whatever. But boy, was it good.

When CA drops off into the ocean, I'm hoping that only the waves come to my front door, and the Sierra's are spared....:lol:

Oh I know you CA West coast have it hard... one of the reasons I have no interest in moving there. Today just reinforced the need to stay on the east coast!

Yeah, and Hurricane Irene is on her way here this weekend... oh the charm of the warm waters here! Lucky me!

I saw that, looks like Irene might be at least a category 3 Hurricane by the time it makes landfall.

it better make landfall here no later then Saturday, I got the in-laws flying in Sunday & a 4 day trip to the coast planned next week. Rain and winds won't stop me now... or earthquakes for that matter!!! :lol:
