Crocus Blooms!!

Here are some pictures of some Crocus flowers that are blooming in my garden. Spring can't be too far away now :woot !!
I went to put some red mulch around them hoping that would keep the squirrels away, otherwise I'll putting some hot pepper to chase them away. So far they haven't touched the flowers yet :fl .

Very pretty! I used to have tons of crocus and daffodils growing throughout a big rock formation at the front of our property, then my daughter confiscated the area for a cow pasture and they ate them all!

My crocus are in bloom in my zone 6 Massachusetts. Also , so many birds singing today. Back early from the south. Hope we have a long growing season!

Here are some of mine from a few years ago. My Crocus are under about 3 feet of snow right now......

Your crocuses were better than mine! :lol: I like how theirs a nice bunch of them in different colors! :thumbsup
Be sure to post pictures of them in bloom this spring.

Here are some other crocus that bloomed in my yard. I even noticed bees out this week which is early for them to wake up from hibernation. This must be a good thing, I'm hoping these bees being out so early will come to pollinate my apricot tree when it blooms in a few weeks. I hope to get my first crop of apricots.
