Actually I don't know. I will say that, if it is an annual, it put a LOT of effort into developing a woody trunk. I suppose we won't really know until all the flower buds are used up and all the pods ripen. If the plant dies after that, it was an annual.

i had to wiki it just to see what that was. but the wiki didn't say anything about it being an annual or not.
