Christmas eve celebrated dad birthday
You cannot blame old people for there ignorance. It is just that. Gay was never talked about or taught about.. In fact I never had ANY sex ed. in school. We had sex ed in Catholic catechism class. The teacher walked in, I was in 9th grade I knew there was something about naked that I knew nothing about. Her first question to the class was, "So, you all know what the sex act is, don't you?" Do you think anyone was going to raise their hand and admit they did not know? The lady was my weird neighbor married with no kids. All I remember her saying was she did not need to worry about birth control. But...don't use it. What ever "it" was. That's it. Soon I went to the library to learn about what ever that naked stuff was. I am sure there was nothing gay in may reading. We all just had to piece things together over time. As our culture started talking openly about sexuality we learned how different people are. I went to a birth control forum in COLLEGE..I know thing is I have been in relationships where my partners come for Holidays. I do have to give him credit he came along way. He stopped using words like queer and sick bastards.
So nice you got these extra years .3 Christmas ago dad was very sick, I remember thinking this is our last Christmas with him
Great family photo. My bad... I did not take any at Thanksgiving or Christmas. MIL is only living parent and 92. Every year we wonder is this the last. So Yes I should have gotten photos. (Trying to decide which pretty lady is you!)I bought a remote that takes pictures with my camera. Running into the photo with a 10 second delay was just not going to do it. A couple people were sick, and a few could not make it this year, but we managed to capture the day. First Christmas without my youngest. Expensive year for her wedding , buying house. Still, View attachment 29901 One of our most fun Christmases. My program that loads the photos was playing tricks on me so I thought the photos were never taken. I have dreamed of doing this photo and I managed to get one where no one was talking. An $8.00 gadget that I likely will use but once a year but so much fun taking my dream photo.
So nice you got these extra years .
I've ruled out the one down front, with all the spots!!!(Trying to decide which pretty lady is you!)
