Seems good, the animals have such different personages, she talks to them and handles each in a differently. Hoviv, the McNab, was taught to bring the phone on call. When the other two showed up he brought me the phone, I guess so I could make a call and have them leave.
They, wifey and daughter, believe it will take about 6 months.
The two new dogs wanted to fight at first, daughter put muzzles on them and they wrested until tired, now they're fine together.
This is incredibly expensive, not complaining just explaining, two good size dogs, with Purina one at $25 smakers a bag, will eat $1,100 per year if we counted Hoviv that would add 1/2 again as much. Vet, meds and this, that and the other thing really add up.
And we're all doing it it turns out. Not complain en~ just splaining.
I tell my clients dogs for the most part are a luxury. Some dog foods are $90 for 35 pound bag. My parents would die at cost I spend to feed mine, our childhood dog ate what A&P had on sale.
I don't get the most expensive brands, but I've found that the cheaper ones mean less food value and much larger stools. A dog is just a dog after all. Wasting money on food that passes right through the dog doesn't make sense to me any more than wasting money on caviar for the dog just because I could. (I can't)
I have found a dog food I like, it's been rated well by that company that rates pet foods (I can't remember the name). It's not at the top of the pile, but it is also one that I can afford and the ingredient list is very similar to those costing $20 more per bag. The food is grain free and the dogs leave (relatively) small piles. Larka weighs 75 pounds now at six months!
The dogs like it too, which is always nice.
