dd has somebody looking over her

last thursday dw and dd were driving home in dd car and was rear ended, both not hurt just a couple sore muscles car is in the shop we are waiting on what they say, a young girl hit them following to close.
so she called her insurance company they got her a rental a really nice 2016 full size jeep....

last night as she on the way home from work and was in the turn lane onto athens a elderly driver put out and a dodge suv swerved to miss them hit them and then the suv did a head on into her, all the air bags went off..
that was the only thing that saved her, she was rushed to the hospital had x-rays cat-scans. all good

she has some good size bruises and some burns from the air bags....one very lucky girl...

yes the other drivers are ok as well.......

Oh My Goodness. That was too scary for all of you. As parents we are always waiting for that next thing... Glad she is o.k. after TWO car accidents in a few days! So scary. YES, Pay Attention! I drive school bus and am almost daily alarmed at the dangerous things people do while driving and risks they take so they do not have to follow a school bus, like passing in a no passing zone!

So glad to hear she is ok! My dad hit a deer once and got burned by the airbags when they deployed, but still I'd rather deal with that than the alternative. Was she in the rental when this happened or had she gotten her own car back?

i hope everything goes well for her & she heals up from all the issues.

with my own car accident this past winter i hope she got the info & filed claims against both the other drivers that hit her. the ones that caused the accident should have their insurance company paying for the rental car.

it's been over 8 months since my accident & i'm still paranoid of someone behind me while driving possibly hitting my car. i can imagine it will be difficult for your daughter to get into another car to drive for some time.

Whew, that was a narrow escape, if I was her I wouldn't sign off on anything right away, even with airbags whiplash injuries sometimes don't show up right away.
It was a long time ago when we were hit broadside by someone running a stop sign, the only thing that saved me was he wasn't going that fast. We had the best witness, a mountie, he came over to see if we were alright and said you've got a good witness if you need one, if that jerk hadn't hit you he would of hit me. I felt a little jarred but thought I was OK so didn't go to hospital to have things checked out, it wasn't until a year later I started having trouble with my neck and spine, whether it was caused by the accident or not I can't say and if I had gone for a checkup they might not of found anything, just saying don't sign off on anything right away, just in case.

have been driving all day again this is what i know so far the elderly driver does not remember the collision<which is his fault>< the red suv> are being uncooperative.
both still have not filed with their insurance company's...
told dd to stop thinking the insurance company is on her side, and get an attorney. the car rental place read dw the riot act when she turned in the keys...

my god she was an innocent by stander..

can not say much more till we get an attorney .....

but dd bruises are turning a nice shade of purple.... we are driving her everywhere she needs to go......

coworker around 4:30 today got a frantic call that her daughter got hit by someone. the guy was already being chased by the police because he was driving erratically. when he hit her the cops surrounded his car (company vehicle) with guns blazing, pulled him out of the car & found he had heroin in the car.

i'm waiting on more details of what happened but the good thing is her daughter is ok at this time. she'll be hurting later. i know i was when i had my accident.
