DS is STRONGLY suggesting a silhouette of a tree in the corner of the (new) living room. I am uncertain that I want to be that Neo-Chic. @NwMtGardener, could you post (or point out) a photo of your tree, please? Any sites ya'll know of with examples?

Well I looked around on my ipad for a picture of my stencil tree at our old house and couldn't find one. All I saw were birds and dogs, hah. Anyway, this is the web page I got my plaster stencils from - we got a tree one and a lattice style. It was fun to do! And you can really change the look just by painting them different ways. I'll look for some pics of mine on monday or tuesday when i'm home.

In our master bedroom I free hand painted 2 trees on either side of the window using the beige wall color just a shade darker. Also a bush under the window.

Red, I found this thread by Heather, and while it's not about her mural you can see part of it on the wall. That just gives you an idea of the whole tree, but I think it's very charming.

Thanks for the link to the stencils. I love the cat tails and have always wanted to pint or stencil some in the master bath. Hmmm, now you all got me thinking!
