Oh, dickiebird! I remember eating frog legs as a child. Once of my favorite meals! Uncle Doug shot 'em out back in the creek and Aunt Claris had the best way of cooking 'em up.

Ah, for another taste of my childhood memories again. As an adult I actually ordered African Frog Legs at a restaurant once, but they were nothing like those bull frog legs from North-est Wisconsin -- up Green Bay way.

Really I have a giant pine tree, covers the front lawn with pine cones. I will also put out beer. Do have deer repellent somewhere
Hold off on adding cones .... today I noticed that several of mine have yellowing leaves. Pine cones adding too much acid??? Or just not enough water?? Don't know yet.

As someone else suggested, I think DE is the best additive under the hosta to prevent slug damage. It will slow down any damage from other insects as well. Only those flying it are safe from the effects of DE.
