Since only organic matter can be insinerated and turned to ashes consisting of original chemical particles , while the clays and small inorganic particles could recombine to eather smaller or larger molecules , they also could turn into pottery. :idunno

There are parks in a city near me where they covered an old dump and turned it into a park. A few years later they found a high incidence of leukemia in the city and traced it back to the park where all of the children played. I do not trust big companies that are supposed take care of these toxins to not cut corners. Profit is the biggest motive. Look at what is happening in Flint Michigan. The Governor is taking his time helping the people and seemed happy to let it go on had he not been caught. Just a city full of poor people so who cares.

Perhaps it was released into the atmosphere.

You did see the video? They say vaporised at 1700 degrees and the secondary combustion of 2100 degrees destroys the Dioxin. They claim there are no Dioxin readings at the park. It may be true the park is safe. I would hope so. They say it was not released into the air.
Do you think BM, that they are lying, that combustion, separation, and destruction did not take place?

Have you seen the pictures from Vietnam, of the children?

No . Cumbustion, seperation and destruction does take place at those temperatures and the molecules reform into smaller or larger molecules /atoms depending on what atoms are present. Yes, I have seen the photos.

The concentration of Dioxins in Vietnam are something else. In enormous concentrations the effects are not to be denied, in smaller/lower amount damage still show up. We can say maybe it, the cause, was something else, for Business reasons, but the facts are not changed. Dioxins are very bad for vertebrates, dogs, cats, fish, horses, cows, monkeys and humans. In poultry it can mimic { Newcastles's disease} It interferes with the way genes pass information causing misshapen bodies and mal developed nervous systems.

Yada Yada Yada Blah Blah Blah.
I think their ratio of dioxin to dirt was quoted in parts per BILLION. To me that's a very small ratio of chemical to dirt.
I don't need to watch a video, I witnessed their incineration of this earth. They did it within 500' of I44. Great clouds of vapor pouring into the air, tumbling out over the Interstate!!!
There's no way that some portion of this dioxin did not escape.
I see dioxin as a way for people to make themselves seem way more important than they really are, create a scare then fix that scare while your brother in law gets paid huge amount of money to burn dirt.
Now lets take that dirt and make a park so we can all feel good.
You can disinfect a turd, but when you're done you still have a turd.
I think the ratio

You are not wise.
And what exactly makes you SOOO wise? coping and pasting poorly researched papers by tree hugging scientists???
With all the money that was spent on dismantling Times Beach, Mo without evidence of any disproportionate medical problems in the town, then turning the same dirt into a park, was just a waste of MY taxes.
This will be my last post on this subject as I have better things to do than argue with a Wikipedian copy and paster!!!!
