stubbornhillfarm, you have a beautiful place. looks like you have some lovely cows too.
Thank you bj. :D It has changed a lot since this picture. This was from last year, but the only one I had at work of Bulldog. I'll have to try and take a picture from the same point this year. That would be fun.

The two tan Jersey steers are gone now and have been replaced by some Herefords. We still have the black and white one though. They make us some good garden fertilizer.

my most recent "companion" is a cockatiel. he was my mother's (she's 90) for the last two years. she thought she wanted the companionship, but really didn't. he has lived a very isolated lonely life. she recently said she was going to have him put to sleep because she didn't want him anymore. he would yell incessantly & drive her crazy. I told her I would take him. not that I need anymore animals w/fish, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 20 chickens, 8 goats. ugh too many. but here he is. he spends a lot of his days on the back patio. he still yells quite a bit, but not near as much. he's settling in.
I've tried to give him away, but nobody wants him - so I guess he will live here with the rest of the zoo. :idunno

Stubborn I see why you named him that. He's a TANK! I take our 2 Goldens out with me Hightimes Believe It Or Not call name Ripley and Hightimes Heck Of A Shot call name Jager. They love to help. I'll get pictures loaded soon.

We went back to the same breeder in Illinois to get our 2nd boy because I was so pleased with the hunting abilities of Ripley. He recently turned 10, and Jager was 5 in October.
