Do you have an unrecognized gardening skill?

i can kill rocks in my rock garden .. what can i say "i'm skilled" ..

me too my thumb is as brown as my.... anyway.... maybe you guys can help me change that.....


btw... I just found out this year you need to take the wrapping off of the jiffy peat pellets...

I can accidentally step on the bow rake and the handle will hit right on my forehead. Every time!

MY, MY.... I thought I was the only one skilled at that maneuver.

Do you also trip over nothing at all? Hit your thumb with the hammer every time? Or staple your shirt to your project?

I am however, very skilled at pulling weeds without disturbing my plants. And at making something grow that others say, "That won't grow here". I love to prove them wrong.

DH can mow just about anything. Strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, irises, peonies, expensive roses, trees under 4 years old, he can mow it.

Although mine doesn't admit it, he has that talent, too. (My, he's modest!)
We got an underground fence for the dogs last summer, and though we don't really use the fence itself (whole 'nother story), we do use the little flags that came with with to mark the "oops don't mow here!"-zones. Sofar, it's worked! Yes, I have flags in strange corners of the yard, but I also have plants!

I can take cuttings of most plants I try, EXCEPT (so far) CLEMATIS

I get 95% success with them. I've been able to do it since I was a child so I take it for granted. I intend to conquer the clematis problem because it really BUGS ME!!
