He's quickly getting too big for his britches.
Right now, the ONLY reason I can think of for having him around is for chicks... and there are easier ways to get fertilized eggs..

"Water boarding" them puts them in place pretty quickly. Hose on jet, aim for the head and for a day or so if he even so much as looks at you blast away until the water spray can't reach him any longer. My boys are in the same yard as I regularly garden in so I can't have one that gets to familiar. I just posted on another thread how when I started w/ chickens I wanted the roos to be my friend, now I don't want thier love I want their fear. The hens come right up to me all the time and garden right along w/ me, but the boys give me a WIDE berth!

I had heard so much about all those folks who have cuddly roos. I handled him daily (of course, I thought he was a she) but then one day <whamo> he suddenly 'became' a ROOSTER.

That's a great looking rooster Cane! If I ever decide to have a rooster, that's what I want!
