Well that's not good news. The first link says it is not self-fruitful. I thought it was but fortunately I do have a multi-graft apple tree but it does not contain Golden Delicious which they recommend. Also says tree produces every 2 years. The last links both indicate tree does take 7-8 years to produce. :thThe tree is looking very healthy but I think I'm going to take it out. Heck I may not be around in 8 years. haha

Remember the tree may already be 3 or 4 years old. Patience Grasshopper. :D
Ok, I will listen to you and Bay and see what it does next year. I have always had trees bloom and give me a few fruits the first year. That is why I was surprised that this one didn't bloom.

I talked to a young lady from Kazakhstan, Thursday.

I have read about the wild apple forests there and asked her about it. She said that yes, they do grow wild there. I pointed out that she has come to a place where apples are a very important crop ... or, nearby that orchard region. She said it seemed very much like her homeland here.

Can you imagine? Forests of apple trees! LINK
