An inlaw to my sister commit suicide some Years ago. He was only 22 or so and trouble for a long time. All of our kids were similar in age. The first time I saw his Mom Afterwards it was at a milestone party for one of my sister kids. I was so emotional and trying not to show it in front of these fragile people. I voice it my head would not rest. Again and again, "Tell my Mother I am sorry." I told my sister so she would relay the thought. 15 years later the parents have not healed.

I have this "thing" while I am driving behind a slow vehicle. About half the time, a thought will pop into my head "no need to get antsy; they will be turning off to the left (or the right) next intersection."
I can't "make" them turn off by thinking it, but if the thought comes to me unbidden, it happens.

I also have thoughts of long ago acquaintances, to find out later that they died the day I thought of them. I wonder how many other of their acquaintances thought of them that day also. Perhaps their soul sent out a message that ours heard. Kind of a universal "Hey, I'm getting out today!"
Not trying to be flippant: we only experience life and death from our perspective. Which is definitely limited. I think (hope) there is so much more.
