Gardening is the only unquestionably useful job.

Got up at 4:30AM, let Eva out, warmed up a cup of yesterday's coffee to have with some vanilla yogurt. I washed dishes and took out 8 pints of chicken broth, now cool from yesterday's pressure canning.
NO SPILLAGE THIS TIME!!!! :woot:woot:woot
Coffee started itself with it's timer, 5:45AM.
DH labeled all of the chicken broth before he left for his office, and for the weekly Wednesday "Liar's Lunch," yes, that is correct, NOT Lawyer's Lunch.
My routine with dishes is to get them cleaned and set to dry asap, which often means Not before I go to bed, but that's ok, bc I get them done.
I noticed recently that my very full spice lazy susan cabinet is overly full. I have been consolidating spices and I had nice smallish rectangularish spice bottle and I filled it with 3 small containers of caraway seed, the cheapo plastic ones with the turnable shakers that never work right.
I used a white label to label this jar. This is the 3rd time in as many weeks as I have done this to make space and take an accounting as to what dried (purchased) spices I have, a good enterprise.
Fed the ponies, and only the end of my heated hose isn't working.
There is bright sunshine, the temperatures are 25 degrees higher than yesterday morning, so here's hoping that it works end of day.
