Dumb Computer Question

You will be fine until that program and your computer no longer works. I use Microsoft 8 (which has a drag menu that irritates some people) and Word 7 at home. If you click on one of the menus the entire task bar changes. I now have 10 on my brand new Dell at work, though I still don't have M. Office for it yet. The menus change with every incarnation and some are downright maddening when it differs radically from the previous version.

i have some choice words for a few developers recently. ... bad choices...

Insert? So you can add something to what has been already written by just "pushing" it along.

Some of these things are specific to the manufacturer.

Some tasks can be done in multiple ways. I remember a comment about some program or hardware was that if the developer designed a car it would not only have both gas and electric motors but also handles so that passengers can get out and push it.
