Right! And then we let life take us along for the ride -- at least many of us did. Some forged their own way. I'm trying to make up for lost time in my old age.

I guess it's time for some of my favorites to start falling by the wayside. So sad. But like George Harrison knew so well . . . All Things Must Pass. See ya later Glenn ♥ ♥ ♥.

DW and I lived in San Diego in the '60s and '70s and The Beatles, The Eagles, Chicago, Three Dog Night, Santana, Steppenwolf, etc. were a major part of our lives.

@Smart Red I'm more than a tad older but a big fan of rock and roll even today. When those windows need cleaning I put on some rock and roll, it's amazing how these old bones limber up and the job gets done :).
When my kids were teenagers they were always asking to borrow my records. In those days it was vinyl, those days are long gone, now it's cd's on a shelf. My teenager's are now parents and grandparents themselves. I love all kinds of music but that rock and roll brings back a lot of memories, I might be old but still young at heart.
Just remembered another couple of bands of the day Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple. And then there's Black Sabbath still going strong, think they are playing in Vancouver sometime this year.

Could I have been a prude in my mis-spent youth? I have a pretty eclectic appreciation of music and I love rock and roll, but I never got close to what I considered hard rock. Gypsy has a growing collection of vinyl, knows all the Beatles songs and has an appreciation for most of the 70-80s music. Compliments of her mom, I suspect.

Again this year, Frank Sinatra crooned during the turkey dinner. Eclectic must run in the family, the music wasn't mine.
