That happened to us one year. After hiding the easter eggs, we were just about to take all the younger kids out for the egg hunt. When we looked outside and saw..... our two labs playing tug-a-war with the "easter bunny" right in the middle of the yard. 
"Mommy why are the dogs eating the easter bunny?" and "Does this mean there's no candy?"

Ugh, reminds me of the time I found a gutted rabbit on my bathroom floor- the cat brought it in through the dog door... Why do we love these animals??

O.K...somehow I am missing the humor. 
But then again, I don't really like comedies. My husband and kids will be laughing their socks off, and I just sit there with a little smile on my face.
