I used a bread machine for a while and then got a kitchenaid. Get a kitchenaid mixer for the dough hook, if nothing else. Gave the bread machine away. Still using the recipe book for French bread and making boules. Too bad we went gluten free for Crazy Lady. When the kids come home, we make bread.

Hot bread and butter with honey!

Daughter made homemade cinnamon rolls last trip down. Yep, I'm proud of her!

Homemade bread dipped into soup. Rice and meat gravy without the rice and dip bread in that. I might be spoiled, but I still eat really well!

i'll go for a Thai style dish which is simple to make,
The Google Doodle today is a 3-D cartoon with the characters making Pad Thai ...?

It isn't a soup but it's fun watching how the images come together :).

You can get a recipe in Google search a the end but if it's for what I've had in a Thai restaurant, I don't much care. I'm always looking for ways to eat more fruits and veggies. Pad Thai seems like a way to eat more starchy noodles.

I have my mother's kitchenaid. my sister's wanted her jewelry I wanted something she loved. Used it once to try and make brownies, took 2 days to clean ceiling and cabinets of brownie mix. Even though I don't use it, it sits in middle of kitchen counter where I see it everyday

For you it's like a piece of art and that's ok. It reminds you of her and it warms your heart up every day. :) Priceless

Nyboy, your mixer sitting in the middle of your kitchen counter reminded me of my tea set that I bought years ago in England. I paid $600 and I don't think I've ever used it. But it's beautiful and I love looking at it and have the memories of that 5 week long vacation with my husband in Europe.
