Edible cherries?!

I wouldn't get overly excited. I never tasted the fruit as I was afraid (the tree was in a planter on a corner between a bar and an apartment, and basically got it't fertilizer from the many bar patrons who upchucked on it's roots . But my Hort teach did, and he said they really weren't all that good.
