I am interested in finding any and all edible flowers that you know are out there? I'm working for a clinic and am in charge of the garden (yay!) and basically we only want edible things in the garden. We will have a vegetable garden but I want lots of colors so lots of flowers too.

So my question is what flowers are edible that you know of.

I know the these are :

Roses
Pansies
Nasturtiums

and honestly thats all I can think of. Thanks so very much!!!!

Lilac
Clover
Hibiscus (which also make a great tea)
Chrysanthemums
Lavender
Calendula
Squash/Pumpkin

Uh, I'm sure there are others.

Violets is one.
I believe Borage is another.
There is actually quite alot, I was reading about that the other day.
I am pretty sure they mentioned Lovage as one.
It was quite surprising to me how many there were I never would have thought of. Hyssops was mentioned and I grow a ton of that and never thought of them.
Look into herbs, an herb garden is nice and you can eat many of those types of flowers as well as using the herbs.
