Yes it is a big one. Not the biggest we've had though.
And, something (guessing another snake) came back last night for eggs. We left the duck w/ 6 eggs. There are only 2 there today. :( I might have to do a stake out tonight, to see what I see!

I got to thinking the other night during feeding chores. Maybe I shouldn't be sticking my hand into the goat house blindly in the dark for the one usual egg I find in there. It's that time of year, by the way that is a HUGE snake!:(
Ha, me too! After reading this, I looked before I stuck my hand into the nestbox today!

I'm very aware these days. Hypersensitive, I guess, too!
I am SO very jumpy when something as silly as long grass tickles my ankles or calves when I'm in the garden! First time it happened after finding our first huge snake, I just about messed myself!!

I hear ya... Once I see a snake and know he's there, I think they're cool and it doesn't bother me. But to accidentally find one in close proximity...yipes! And now I'm the same way about anything that buzzes ever since I found out that I am allergic to wasps. June and July are nervewracking months for me!
