You don't see many of these in January in New York. I wonder if the people in the house bought a Powerball ticket. Last year at this time there was four feet of snow on the ground.

I am a somewhat private person and usually don't post pictures of me or my family. We went up to our cabin to play in the snow. This is me and Olivia (5yr.old granddaughter), in the far right you can see my husband and our 2 yr. old grandson Declan. I supposed it would be more real if we shoveled snow. :D

Beautiful shot of that rainbow, jackb! No it is not a sight that we normally have in January, but it sure beats shoveling snow!

I once followed a rainbow into town to meet with an internet gardener friend from Colorado who was visiting Wisconsin. As I drove, the end of the rainbow was centered upon the McDonald's where we had arranged our meeting.

How did she know it was me? I was the only one walking into MD's with a plant to share.
