Ughh them I guess im not going to get them,would goosberries do ok there you think?I have been very intrested in them for years and I have found a good site for them.

It depends on whether your site is moist or marshy (as you mentioned). Here is some information:

Elderberries are great! Not sure if they can be transplanted, as they have very deep roots, but I believe a branch from one would sprout roots if it is "heeled in" or buried sideways under shallow, moist dirt with just the top 6 inches or so peeking out for a week or so.

Never heard of being able to buy them at a nursery - they generally come up voluntarily wherever there is a water source 10 - 30 feet down! I'll check my seed and tree catalogs anyway and let you know if I find anything! Good luck! That wine sounds divine!
