Elephant Ear-will this work?

I was going to save a couple of bulbs one year. I heard that it's important to let the leaves die back before you lift them. In your case Pulse I guess that wouldn't matter so much because they'll be in a pot. I left mine in the garage too long and forgot about them. They become a glob of goo when they freeze!

I think it will certainly work to let them go dormant inside and keep them potted.
Have fun, they are amazing growers.

I like the purple ones @Nyboy. The purple bulb I tried growing never did anything, but the green ones did fantastic. I'm sure I just had a bad bulb.

ha! Brings back memories of living in San Antonio, one of the several times, when my baby bro ate some of the leaves of the Elephant ear out back. We had to take him to the base Dr to get his stomach pumped.

That Elephant ear stayed outside down there in TX.
