English peas

The Golden Sweet sure looked nice on the picture on the SSE website! Excited to grow them.

I've never heard of Yakumo Giant. I have seen a similiar pea offered on by several U.S. companies called Swiss Giant though.

Baker Creek has many of the more unusual varieties including peas. Don't know if they have Yakumo Giant, they might.

Good info here. I keep telling myself I'm going to grow some this year but it never happens somehow I always manage to miss the planting time & don't get any peas. This yeas already told myself 2014 will be different.....hope it will be

Try Carouby De Maussane from Baker Creek whom you linked. Almost identical to Yakumo Giant which is supposedly a Japanese cultivar in circulation in Australia and some other places.
Carouby is French cultivar and tall grower with nice colored flowers and large tasty pods, I have seen 6 inch pods from both it and Yakumo. I once thought they were both one in the same but Carouby seems to have different seed coloring.
