Today I went on a 5 mile hike with DH up to a beautiful lake. It was sunny so we sat in the sunshine, just soaking it up for more than an hour before heading back. We foraged these yummy dandelion greens which I will add to a gourmet salad! Yummy and SO healthy! Look up the health benefits of eating dandelion greens! Sorry they are still in the boring ziplock bag!

yesterday was a beautiful day here too - sunny, light breeze, 58F. alas, we had already scheduled our day and had to run out to do errands and shopping. still it was nice to be able to be out and not be frozen or rained on or blown away.

today will be about the same temperature but we have a chance of rain coming up soon.

Yesterday was cloudy and very windy but it was something of an interlude in several warm days with sunshine. More of those days are forecast to be continuing.

One day last week was particularly sunny, first to last. A couple of days later it was calm but overcast with the temperature 10⁰f warmer than that sunny day.

As daylight began to change to night, I commented to DW about how it seemed no warmer or even, not as warm, as that day of bright sunshine. Of course, this depended on where we positioned ourselves in the environment – although, we were outdoors in sunlight for several hours on both of those days. Warm sunshine contrasted to overcast skies ...

Those days were probably also contrasted by our own psychology. I doubt that someone from southern climes would have considered either day as especially warm ;).
